Eastern Cape MPLs received complimentary breakfast and lunch, but were each then also handed R1,000 in cash per night “for supper” during their Taking Legislature to the People programme held in the Joe Gqabi district last week. The programme, held at Bensonvale College in Sterkspruit, ran from January 31 to February 3.
The EFF has rejected suggestions that its leader Julius Malema imposed changes in the party’s Eastern Cape top five leaders to include women.
