New Yorker sentenced to 30 months in prison for stealing furs worth $100K

STAMFORD A New Yorker accused of stealing over $100,000 worth of furs from a Westport department store and trying, within hours, to return them for a refund at a sister store in Greenwich was sentenced to 30 months in prison Thursday.
Konis Coleman, 60, was sentenced to 30 months in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree larceny in January 2020 as a part of a plea bargain.
Under the deal, there were two options: either pay a $20,000 fine or face 30 months in prison.
