Council backs adjustable location for First Fridays on Main
The summer events will be held at the same location on Main Street, stretching from Seventh Avenue to Fifth Avenue.

After getting pushback from a local business owner, First Fridays on Main will have an adjustable location in downtown Mitchell following the city council’s approval Monday night of the event setup.
While the event location will remain along Main Street, stretching from East Seventh Avenue to East Fifth Avenue, Mitchell Mayor Bob Everson has the authority to reduce the portion of Main Street that’s blocked off between Fifth and Sixth avenues. ....
