Some neighborhoods were getting bursts of wind up to 40 and 50 mph overnight. Sustained winds 10 to 20 mph those stronger winds will calm down, but well stay breezy as the cold core of the storm rolls in today. That will increase the chance of showers and possibly even some aloft. California is getting some snow in the sierras. Maybe not as much as theyd hoped for. But everything is a bonus. A little snow in our local mountains is also expected, but snow. Maybe 1 to 3 inches at best.
