15 years..that s how long these sisters have been caring for their brother. it s been 15 years of heartache- with complication after he was never the same. you could never be the same. shawn north s life was forever changed on may 2001 he told police two men wanted to steal his truck- when he denied they shot him in his driveway. the suspects then took off- leaving the car but taking shawn s independance. his sisters there every step of the way. loved him..no one else would come in the middle of the night or holidays or weekends..so i did. it s been 15 years of complications and infections- adding to his sisters heartaches. thankfully he didnt die but then you question what was his quality of life..he was never the same. you could never be the same. ultimately- a complication from one of his gunshot wounds killed him. his sisters- still coping with his loss.. carrying a pillow at 3 in the morning.. 15 years of being there every day and night..they miss their brother. bu ....
