Impeachment proceedings will be delivered to the Senate Monday. That isn't sitting well with MS Senator Roger Wicker.

The article of impeachment against President Trump will be delivered to the Senate Monday, according to an announcement from Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer this morning. Republicans have been saying the Senate can’t hold a trial after a President has left office, and there have been arguments over the constitutionality of such a move. MS Senator Roger Wicker has said from the beginning he thinks impeachment proceedings are a mistake.
He released this statement after this mornings announcement:
