CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A group of uber-rich international businessmen will fly in a SpaceX Crew Dragon to the International Space Station, launching from Florida within a year, Axiom Space revealed Tuesday.
The private Houston space company unveiled its first paying crew Tuesday, known as the Axiom Mission 1, or AX-1, who have paid a whopping $55 million for their seats inside the Dragon spacecraft. SpaceX made history last year, becoming the first private company to fly NASA astronauts to the space station, returning human spaceflight operations from Florida’s Space Coast. ....

Dayton, Ohio real estate entrepreneur Larry Connor will pilot a historic proposed private mission to the International Space Station by Axiom Space.
Larry Connor, a Dayton entrepreneur, will pilot the proposed first private mission to the International Space Station.
Conner is one of the four-person team of Axiom Space s Axiom Mission 1. The Ax1 mission will be the first fully private crew to visit the ISS, officials said. The mission is set for after January 2022.
Connor is the founder and managing partner of The Connor Group, a real estate company based out of Dayton, Ohio. He is a Dayton native and pilot who has flown more than 16 different aircraft. ....
