Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School celebrated one of its own Monday when senior Praise Yawe received her formal commissioning to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Participants in the Community Emergency Response Team program learn basic first aid, the psychology of disaster, how to extinguish small fires, and even how to search structures and rescue victims.
