BELFAST The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court Nov. 23 - Dec. 4. Caleb Roy, 28, of Burnham, probation violation in Burnham July 28, 2015, nine months in jail, probation partially revoked and continued; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Burnham June 15, six months in jail. Timothy P. Gotham, of Belfast, operating under the influence Aug. 4, 2016, 72 hours in jail, license suspended for 150 days, and $900 fine. Kyle L. Downs, 28, of Brooks, probation violation in Knox April 12, 2018, nine months in jail, probation partially revoked and continued. Austin McDevitt, 24, of Belmont, murder in Swanville March 15, 2019, 29 years in prison, and $1,468.67 restitution. Nadia Carter, 28, of Boothbay, operating under the influence in Unity Oct. 6, 2019, 180 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, one year of probation, license suspended for three years, registration suspended, and $700 fine. ....
