It was inaugurated by the Indian Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju. The objectives of the conference were to disseminate the core values of Buddhist philosophy, its culture and its relevance for instilling in the youth ethical and moral values.
