The nine new sculptures debuting Saturday, May 8, at the Kemp Center for the Arts vary size and material, but several are steel due to its durability and resistance to the elements.

This is our 17th Annual Sculpture Garden event. It used to be an invitational exhibit and about four years ago we decided to change it to a juried exhibit. The goal with that was to expand and broaden the range of artists who were coming in for each show,  said Kristine Thueson, gallery manager for the Kemp Center. ....
