NEW ULM ProMusica Minnesota will present the last New Ulm-based concert of the season on Sunday, May 9, with “Pale Yellow.”
The performance features Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra cellist Richard Belcher, Principal Second Violin for the Minnesota Orchestra Peter McGuire, and ProMusica Minnesota’s Artistic Director, pianist Bethel Balge.
Join us at 3 p.m. in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 201 N. State St., in celebrating Mother’s Day and spring in full bloom. The performance begins with the Piano Trio Hob XV:21, in C Major by Classical composer Joseph Haydn. Next, the trio will perform the soulful and moving Pale Yellow by contemporary American composer Jennifer Higdon. The performance will conclude with the passionate and emotional Piano Trio No 2, in C Major, Op. 87 of Johannes Brahms.
