Bison Range Road closes to prevent further damage

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) Bison Range Road at Minneopa State Park has closed until further notice.
The annual closure is done to protect the park and Bison Range Road from excessive damage during snow melts and extremely wet, muddy periods.
The length of the closure is weather-dependant.
The rest of the park remains open, including the falls area and hiking trails. Some of the hiking trails have views of the bison range.
