然而，福岛食材的争议还未结束，餐食的口味似乎也不尽如人意。7月20日法国记者Regis Arnaud在推特上上传了一张东京奥运会媒体中心提供的餐食照片，并配文吐槽道：“新奥运丑闻：MPC（媒体新闻中心）汉堡：橡胶肉、冷面包、犯规，全部为1600日元（约合人民币94元）。记者同志们，先吃饭吧。”。
