Kota Kinabalu: PBS Youth chief Christoper Mandut has asked why the Federal Government failed to respond to Sabah’s requests for details for the 40-percent revenue share calculations.
KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Youth chief Christoper Mandut has questioned the federal government’s delay in furnishing the Sabah government with data and statistics over the 40% revenue grant.
A STATE-Federal joint committee will be formed to coordinate the implementation of Federal development projects in Sabah, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor who also wants contractors who failed to deliver to be terminated.
The State Government will revive the Sabah Rice and Paddy Board next year with an allocation of RM1.82 million for operation and administration as part of the initiatives to increase rice self-sufficiency level (SSL) to 31 per cent in 2025, from 22pc this year.
