It examines the current legal and policy framework regarding treatment of perpetrators of gender-based violence; identifies the gaps and needs in this area; outlines experiences of perpetrator programmes locally, including practices and pilot projects; provides illustrative examples of promising practices from other countries; and proposes recommendations for future actions, in compliance with the Istanbul Convention and other international standards and guidelines.
