Earth, water, air, fire and the inner mind are major themes of art works by Nguyễn Duy Nhựt, which are on display in his debut solo exhibition at the HCM City Fine Arts Museum.
The HCM City Theatre Association and its partners are working to release a series of books on cải lương (reformed opera), a traditional genre of southern theatre which began in the early 1920s in the Cửu Long (Mekong) River Delta region.
She was one of the seven founding members of the country’s Conservatory of Music in 1956 and Dean of the Piano Department for 20 years. She trained many talented generations of pianists, with the most internationally successful concert pianist being her youngest son, Đặng Thái Sơn.
