About 30 community organizations have begun to receive more than $2 million in grants from the Allen County Health Department, personnel said at the organization’s quarterly meeting Monday.
County officials across Indiana are preparing to receive their share of historic state funding intended to increase disease prevention efforts and improve Hoosiers’ overall health.
The Allen County Department of Health has awarded 29 local organizations with grants totaling more than $2.07 million for the community’s health needs.
