Provincially, 89.5 per cent of the eligible population of Ontario has been at least partially vaccinated. Globally, 3.5 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed. But there’s a problem. MONTREAL, February 17, 2021 Development and Peace Caritas Canada has launched an exciting matching project for its Share Year-Round monthly donation program. All monthly donations pledged from Ash Wednesday until Pentecost (Sunday, May 23, 2021) will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $130,000. This includes new pledges and any increases to monthly amounts already being donated. This initiative is funded by several Canadian religious communities, who have been steadfast allies of Development and Peace since its founding in 1967.
