The Friends of the Millis Public Library have taken this charge quite literally with an upcoming fundraiser they call A Novel Occasion.
The group, led by President Sandra Scott, is bringing together 10 well-known authors some of whose names have been bandied about on New York Times bestsellers lists for a live virtual meetup to talk about their latest works and the writing process next Saturday, May 1, from 12-2:30 p.m.
