Man Arrested For a 5th DUI, His Infant Child Was Also In The Car

At around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a Missoula County Sheriff’s Office deputy was travelling northbound on Highway 93. As he passed the intersection of Miller Creek Road and Highway 93, he observed a vehicle drifting within its lane from side to side. At one point, the vehicle came to a complete stop at a green light and didn’t start driving again until after several seconds had passed.
The deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver who was identified as 40-year-old Justin Branch. Branch’s eyes were red, bloodshot, and watery. Branch also slurred his speech. Branch explained that he stopped at the green light because he “spaced out.” Branch stated he does not have a driver’s license and his driving record shows that his driver’s license is revoked. ....

A truck can be seen passing Miller Creek Road in Estill County as floodwaters cover it.A flash flood emergency has been declared for parts of Kentucky, USA, after heavy rainfall from 28 February. Several locations in the state saw more than 5 inches (127mm) of rain in 24 hours to early 01 March 2021.
Flash flooding affected parts of Kentucky and Tennessee on 28 February. Local media reported several high water rescues, mostly involving motorists attempting to drive through flood water.
The National Weather Service (NWS) declared a Flash Flood Emergency for parts of Todd County.
NWS Paducah, KY said: A Flash Flood Emergency has been issued for Todd County KY. This is an extremely dangerous, life-threatening situation unfolding for the Elkton, KY and surrounding areas of the county. Do not attempt to travel in this area unless you are fleeing an area subject to evacuations. ....
