Does that sound about right? - i think that s fair representation of the time. - okay. it was now clear. we had finally found our man. - got it. so it s 20 years since the 1998 higher ed reauthorization act. - yeah. - and the bankruptcy provision, in particular how much time have you spent reflecting on that decision that you guys made back then? - i have i don t it wasn t the most dominant thing i ve thought about since then. i have in many conversations, defended what i think was a reasonable decision, that these are obligations that people make. and that when people accept an obligation, they have a responsibility to attend to that. and if students actually defaulted, they weren t they simply weren t acting in good faith. - so you just made a point that, you know, people should meet their obligations, like you said. but given not what the intention was, ....
