this is cnn tonight. ukraine s president s new warning for the world. be prepared for the possibility that putin could go nuclear at some point in this war. zelenskyy says that should worry the entire globe. it is a very concerning thought. it came in a rare exclusive new interview with cnn s jake tapper. in that one on one, jake asked zelenskyy about the huge news of the sinking of russia s flagship battleship in the black sea. the u.s. said today with more certainty that it was ukrainian missiles that downed it. not some sdaccidental fire as moscow claims. ukraine expects russia to increase its attacks in revenge. a nmilitary spokesman says, we are ready. russia has been striking harder today. lots of shelling and air strikes in the southeastern region of donbas where a russian offensive is expected in the coming days. strikes reported across kharkiv in the north where at least ten civilians were killed earlier. and cluster bombs reportedly killed five civilians in the
downed russian cruise missiles that were fired this morning towards the lviv region, the western part of ukraine. also the mayor of kyiv, the capital city came under fire this morning, and there is no word so far on possible casualties. but the attacks on kyiv following the sinks of the warship, ukraine claims it sank the moskva and the u.s. agrees. and a senior official said two hit the warship. president volodymyr zelenskyy has issued a warning not just for his country, but zelenskyy says that the world should be prepared for the possibility that vladimir putin could use tactical nuclear weapons in this war from russia in ukraine. we ll have more on jake tapper s exclusive interview with president zelenskyy coming up ahead. new military aid including helicopters expected to arrive in ukraine within the coming hours from now. the aid includes more heavy-duty and sophisticated weapons than previous shipments had. russia is formally protesting the u.s. shipment of weapon
