Creede Repertory Theatre will stream To the Moon on demand from March 15-April 11, 2021. Based on over 200 surveys and 20 in-person interviews with survivors of domestic violence, playwright Beth Kander lifts up these riveting true stories, complete with humor, revelation, and tragedy. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been told we are safer at home, but for many in the United States, home is not safe. No survivor owes us their story, but when someone shares it we do out them our attention, our support, and our commitment to help make things better. ....

Stage and Screen Actor Lee Wallace Dead at 90

Lee Wallace, a veteran of the stage and screen who appeared on Broadway regularly from the late 1960s and into the ‘90s, died December 20 at the age of 90 following complications from an illness.
The actor made his Broadway debut in 1969’s
A Teaspoon Every Four Hours, which had a preview period of 97 performances before closing on its official opening night. A series of limited (but nonetheless lengthier) runs on the Main Stem followed, including

Lee Wallace, Gotham City Mayor In Tim Burton s Batman, Dies At 90
Batman, has passed away.
The Hollywood Reporter brings word of Wallace s passing which occurred on Sunday, December 20 in New York. Wallace s family announced that he passed after a long illness. Born July 15, 1930, Wallace was 90 years old and he is survived by son Paul and his family in Northern California. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this tragic and difficult time, especially so close to the holidays.
Though only appearing in a few scenes Wallace s Mayor character from Burton s 1989 feature film sees him share the screen with Pat Hingle s Commissioner Gordon, Billy Dee Williams Harvey Dent, and yes, even Michael Keaton s Bruce Wayne for a brief scene at Wayne Manor (pictured below, seen on the left).
