what s next for these workers coming up in our second half hour. protests over the ferguson decision continued in new york city. look at the crowd here. that march through times square a couple hours ago. it was a smaller group than the one that margined in times square tuesday. the night after a missouri prosecutor announced no charges against officer darren wilson. there were enough protesters out today to briefly block traffic. and this protest in oakland, california, enough to shut down train service in the bay area this afternoon. protesters bearing the message, black lives matter chained themselves together and blocked the doors to the b.a.r.t. trains in oakland. they say their goal is to stop b.a.r.t. service for four hours, the same amount of time michael brown s body lay in the street after he was killed. b.a.r.t. says limited service has resumed. and despite all of the bargains out there today, some local shops are planning special offers to get you in ....
this morning, police also revealed michael brown was a suspect in a strong-arm robbery that happened about ten minutes before brown had his fatal encounter with that police officer. now, authorities released this video just within this last hour that allegedly shows michael brown intimidating and pushing a man at this convenience store. we have also in the wake of these new pictures heard from michael brown s family, and they are outraged. it s a systematic way to concoct a version of events and to taint this boy s past rather than look at his future. it s just a way to try to taint of minds of those that are supporting this family. you ve got everybody around the world that s wondering what happened. it s a color blind curiosity. blacks are wondering, hispanics are wondering, whites are wondering. and my point is, they are trying to distract away from that curiosity and now talk about his past as though that has something to do with him surrendering and being shot. ....
reason for me to comment on that. it was my decision. do you have any concerns with the release of the officer s name as some of his supporters and some members of the ferguson police have expressed, there s reason his life might be in jeopardy or at least threatened? we ve said there should be security around this as we move forward for everybody. not just all the families and everybody directly involved. security s something we re working on. yeah, that clearly could be some challenges there. the bottom line is this information s now out. that s one step. and we ll move forward from there. the defined mission here is to make sure that the person on the ground here with his team is communicating directly, allowing people to speak but keeping the peace right here in ferguson. captain, i saw you approaching some of the young men wearing bandannas on street yesterday? what did you tell them? walking behind them, could i hear their anger. i kind of went over to tal ....
