right now the school is on lockout, the s.w.a.t. tee doing a systematic room by room, floor by floor fat most of the classes from freedom high school had been let out it was put in a secured situation. the high school students have been let go. as police search over here, and they go through room by room, and floor by floor, they re start to go let people who were inside the school out, so today we have the situation. we had a student gunman inside northern virginia community college, woodbridge campus, shots were fired. no one was injured. the student guan is under arrest. right now the lock jon continues as police do a sweep of the entire building. joining me is derrick ward. you talked to some students? indeed we did. we were told by students who were in the cafeteria that administrators came in and in no uncertain terms told them to get out, using pretty strong language. we were in campus. as we were coming out, we heard what sounded like gunshots, so everybod ....

those police cars the woodbridge campus going on now, a sweep, a systematic sweep of that school. it s been going on now for hours after a very tense situation at the school today. it happened around 2:40 in the afternoon. they say a student armed with a gun, a high-powered rifle was inside that school. they saw him walk down the hallway, they saw him fire a shot in the hallway. he headed towards a classroom. a teacher in that classroom. a math teacher from russia only at the school a couple years, she tells the students to run. she ducks another shot is fired. dozens of cops on the scene. they confront that shooter. he drops the gun, they arrest the shooter. no one was injured. the sweep continues on. hear now from first sergeant kim chen with the prince william county police. the campus police officer heard shorts being fired. we share a radio system. we were able to have units on the scene immediately. they were able to apprehend the shooter in the hallway. what ....
