After living in Southern California and touring all over the world as a member of Eric Burdon and the Animals, Monticello native Davey Allen is happy to be back home again in Indiana.
“Being back in Indianapolis and going to different parts of the city, I think there have been some major strides in the uptick of culture,” says Allen, who recently relocated to Broad Ripple from Southern California. “There’s a scene happening that was not happening before. I thought I was going to miss something by moving to Indianapolis, and that’s not at all what happened. In fact, there are more inspiring things going on here in Indianapolis than in California, and there’s less pressure.” ....
