Gina Joseph, a media and marketing industry leader, has been elected to The Daily Californian’s Board of Directors. Joseph, ‘08, worked at the Daily Cal as an advertising account executive and was the business manager during her senior year. A Harvard Business School graduate, Joseph is Vice President of strategic partnerships at VentureBeat and was previously at Hearst and Digital First Media/Media News Group, spearheading product innovation, revenue growth strategy, and leading digital transformation. “UC Berkeley and the Daily Cal hold a special place in my heart,” Joseph said. “The history is so rich, the Cal community is so vibrant, and my time at the Daily Cal has taught me so much about the industry and how to navigate a leadership role in a startup-like environment.
