(The Columbian files) A former employee of the FarmHill Equestrian Center near Ridgefield has sued the business and its current and former owners, alleging wrongful discharge. Serafin Larios Mendoza of Vancouver filed suit last week in Clark County Superior Court, seeking unspecified damages. According to the suit, Larios Mendoza cared for horses at the center from March 2019 until January 2021, when he was hospitalized after experiencing chest pains. His lawsuit claims his employment was terminated after the new owners of the center made unfounded assumptions about his health and said his heart condition would be a liability for insurance purposes. ....
