As well harold bill you know that. big children, big problems. right? we ve been there. as your kids get older, the problems get bigger. and sometimes you need a parent to be actually stronger and more forceful and say, son, stay right there. i m coming. i m taking care of it. bill you re sitting quietly. our son fought in afghanistan. thank god he s back well and he didn t he did not do what bergdahl did. i feel strongly about this. i m not going to criticize. i take your point. i wouldn t go out of my way to criticize a parent who maybe was irresponsible in terms of what he said before his son was captured and certainly what he said after. but the president of the united states put that parent in the spotlight. that guy could have been in the middle of where is he from? idaho. maybe somebody would have tracked him down and interviewed him. the president of the united states brought him to the rose garden. i agree with mika. president obama has to answer for that. ....
Policy. i think this speech was a start. i don t want to minimize the thoughtfulness and the and the detail that went into a speech that it s actually more than a speech. they have been working for months, probably years, to try to sort of codify what it is they are doing and codify a way of fighting this war against terrorists going forward and put it inside of some legal framework. i don t think the speech yesterday succeeded in doing all of that, but i do think it was a step along that road. of course, mika, richard haass this past hour said this is is one of the president s most important speeches. i agree. over the past five years. we have robert gibbs still with us. robert. yes, ma am. what i saw in this speech and everyone has their different point of views but i saw something evolving that we haven t seen in a while but that is the guy who ran for office six years ago. ....
