An asthmatic woman who was bombed with pepper spray in her Auckland prison cell is going to court to stop Corrections using the gas, which is marketed as 'making grown men cry since 1975'.
Corrections has been breaking the law by gassing prisoners in their cells with a potent pepper spray called the Cell Buster, a High Court judge has ruled.
An asthmatic woman is repeatedly pepper sprayed and has to show her used sanitary products to male guards, while her seriously depressed girlfriend is left in isolation until she attempts suicide, reports Guyon Espiner.
