After a year off due to the pandemic, the WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt is returning to Hopkinsville Saturday, April 3 at Tie Breaker Park.
Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says the egg hunt will have some minor changes this year to prevent spread of the coronavirus, but it will for the most part be the same egg hunt you’ve come to love when the horn sounds at 11 a.m.

KENDALLVILLE â MidWest America Federal Credit Union presented a check for $5,000 to Noble Count 4-H as part of an ongoing Affinity Visa® debit card program. The partnership with Noble County 4-H, East Noble School Corporation, and other organizations allows supporters to select a debit card with the organization of their choice.
Every time the debit card is used, the organization earns proceeds to help fund programs. The more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution.
Proceeds were presented to Doug Keenan, extension director by MidWest Americaâs Kendallville branch manager, David Dressler.
Affinity Visa® debit cards are available at all MidWest America branches and issued immediately with the Credit Unionâs instant issue program. The cards are free and can be used in conjunction with multiple checking account options.

WASHINGTON – The Treasury Department has branded Vietnam and Switzerland as currency manipulators while putting China and nine other countries on a watch list in an annual report designed to stop countries from manipulating their currencies to gain unfair trade advantages.
It marked the first time the United States has labeled another country as a currency manipulator since August 2019, when it called out China at a time when the world s two largest economies were locked in tense trade negotiations.
The Trump administration removed the designation from China in January after the two countries achieved trade agreements aimed at lowering China s huge trade surplus with the U.S.
