Sam Eggington got back on track after suffering defeat last time out, as he stopped Ashley Theophane in six rounds of their Super Welterweight encounter in Redditch.
Eggington lost a razor thin decision to Ted Cheeseman last time out, while Theophane was most definitely in the twilight of his career at 40, and with wins over journeymen littering his recent career.
Eggington stalked his man in the opening round, and dominated without exerting himself too much.
The end of the second round saw Eggington score a knockdown, a an off balance Theophane was driven back towards the ropes by an Eggington right hand, and with only the ropes holding him up, the count was administered.
