With upraised arm and clenched fist, Superman greets visitors entering "Hall of Heroes," the action-packed new exhibition at Mid-America Science Museum, Hot Springs.
The June exhibit at Justus Fine Art Gallery, 827-A Central Ave., will feature a selection of work by artists including Michael Ashley, Robyn Horn, gallery owner Dolores Justus, Linda Williams Palmer, Sammy Peters, Steven Schneider, Sandra Sell, Gene Sparling, Michael Warrick, and Elizabeth Weber.
HOT SPRINGS A temporary exhibit "Tree/Cycle: An Exploration of Art & Science Inspired by Arkansas Trees," featuring work by artists Linda Williams Palmer and Gene Sparling was kicked off with an opening reception Feb. 10 at the Mid-America Science Museum.
While Hot Springs Junior Auxiliary s annual fundraiser will take adult partygoers back to the Roaring 20s for a night of food, drinks and charity gambling at Prohibition on Jan. 21, the fun event is all for the benefit of children.
