Two industrial units fined for flouting testing norm

Pune Municipal Corporation (
PMC) has levelled a fine of Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively on two erring
industrial units located on the Katraj-Ambegaon Road for not conducting rapid antigen tests of its employees. The workers were also found disregarding social distancing regulations during the sudden inspection held recently.
It may be noted that the municipal commissioners of Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, as also the district collector, recently allowed the use of rapid antigen tests for workers of the industrial sector in the region based on the revised ....
