Fargo-Moorhead was once home to the tallest ski jump in the United States As residents of the area enjoy another weekend of Frostival fun, they might not realize Fargo-Moorhead was once a popular spot for ski jumping. 6:00 am, Feb. 12, 2021 × The ski jump was built in 1935 by the Dovre Ski Club of Fargo on the banks of the Red River north of the Fargo city limits. The labor was provided by the Cass County Federal Emergency Relief Administration. It was torn down in 1942.
