Adrian Center for the Arts Teacher s Camp earns positive reviews

The Daily Telegram ADRIAN A total of 65 arts educators, nearly all of them from around Michigan including several from Lenawee County participated last week in the Adrian Center for the Arts’ fifth annual Michigan Art Education Association (MAEA) camp. The camp, held July 13-15, saw one of the largest numbers of enrollment during its five-year history. Numbers were higher this year as compared to last summer, because of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact in 2020. The teacher’s camp was still held in person last year, but was limited to 30 participants. “The program has had its ups and downs over the years, but it certainly has climbed in popularity as time has gone on,” Lisa Neuman, executive director of the Adrian Center for the Arts, said.
