The Grove House Hotel closes its doors due to pandemic

A popular hotel in Wallasey has closed its doors due to the uncertainty of its future amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Grove House Hotel, which once hosted many local people’s birthday parties, weddings and christenings, has now been sold to developers.
Owners of the hotel, Nick and Michele Burn, announced on a Facebook group through a friend that they would like to thank all their loyal customers and staff for all their continued support.
They said: “We are very sorry to announce the hotel has sold very recently- all of our staff have now been informed.
“Due to Covid 19 and the uncertainty moving forward we decided we would accept an offer from a developer. ....
