97 residents of local senior living center get vaccinated

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â Staff gave the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to the facility s 97 residents at the Solstice Senior Living Center Saturday morning.
In total, it took about 40 minutes. The facility s executive director Michelle Kelm said it s important for the residents to be vaccinated. They are definitely the most susceptible, they re definitely the ones that really need to get vaccinated, right now, I know it s hard to get the vaccine right now but it ll get easier.
Kelm told KRIS 6 News nearly the entire staff worked on Saturday in an effort to expedite the vaccinations.
