Top Chef. We meet againâ¦six years later. And this time, itâs personal. By which I mean the latest season is filmed in my hometown of Portland, Oregon. And, of course, Seattleâs own Shota Nakajima of Taku and, previously, Adana is one of the contestants vying for fame, fortune, and a lifetime supply of San Pellegrino.

Fans of Marriott Internationalâs cheeky W Hotels planning a future trip to Japan now have even more reason to visit Osaka. Rising 27 stories above the gingko treeâlined Midosuji Boulevard, W Osaka opened its doors today as the luxury brandâs first-ever outpost in the country. The monolithic black facade by celebrated Osaka-born architect Tadao Ando presents a minimalist veneer that conceals flamboyant interiors by Amsterdam-based design studio Concrete, which was previously behind W London and W Verbier.
