WORCESTER - When Firefighter Christopher Roy s family was consulted about the memorial that was being built outside the Webster Square Fire Station, they thought it was perfect - but they wanted to add just one thing.
They had asked us if we wanted to do anything to (the memorial), Roy s mother, Michele Roy said. And I immediately said, Yes, I d like the word perseverance. Because that s what Chris life was, he persevered.
