Mohegan Sun cancels 4-day wine, food fest

The pandemic has forced Mohegan Sun to cancel one of its largest and most successful annual events, the Sun Wine & Food Fest.
Over the past 17 years, the Sun Wine & Food Fest has grown into a four-day, multi-event festival drawing 10,000 visitors to the Uncasville, Conn., casino. Events stretch from the Uncas Ballroom to the much larger Earth Expo & Convention Center.
“This difficult decision was made in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as keeping the community safe takes precedence,” organizers said in a statement on Monday. ....
