SYDNEY, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) While Australia is not technically a part of Asia, you would be forgiven for thinking it is during the Chinese Lunar New Year, which is filled with food, decorations and multicultural celebrations.
To help celebrate the upcoming Year of the Ox, British-born Chinese artist Chrissy Lau was commissioned to create a series of unique postage stamps to be released by Australia Post this year.
Lau also designed a pair of 2.4-meter-high ox sculptures that would stand at the gates of Sydney s Chinatown, welcoming visitors to the festivities.
