Good evening. It took authorities a little more than 24 hours to track down and arrest the 43yearold suspect his name is lawr deshawn mcbride. Witnesses say mcbride cut off his exgirlfriend la shonda franklin as she drove her children to school yesterday morning. Surveillance video shows mcbride leaving the scene off she was shot. He was tracked to a Fast Food Restaurant in the city of sacramento. And our detectives in the Marshall Services officers went in and apprehended him without any fight. Both of franklins children witnessed her being killed, theyre both under the age of 10. Mcbride and franklin had a history of domestic violence.
