Australian No.1 Alex de Minaur has cruised into the last eight at the Antalya Open in Turkey, beating Bulgarian teenager Adrian Andreev 6-3 6-1.
In his opening match of the tournament, De Minaur had needed just 61 minutes to defeat Tunisia’s Malek Jaziri 6-2 6-1.
In their first-ever meeting, world No.23 de Minaur was far too good for the youngster Andreev, winning 72 per cent of his first serves.
And he was deadly on return, breaking his 19-year-old opponent, ranked 564 in the world, six times. ....
