WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) As COVID-19 vaccine supply expands, some Eastern Iowa companies are now able to offer their employees incentives to get their vaccine shots. If you have driven along Highway 20 in Dyersville, you ve probably seen signs for FarmTek, Clearspan, and TekSupply, all part of the Engineering Services and Products Company or ESAPCO. ESAPCO is encouraging employees to get vaccinated by offering a one-time $100 bonus and two extra days of vacation. We want our employees to not only be safe, but to feel safe while they re at work as well, said Safety and Compliance Manager Richard Gassman. Part of the reason Gassman and FarmTek are trying to get as many of their employees vaccinated lies in the work they do. The Dyersville company specializes in building greenhouses, tension fabric buildings, and large beam buildings. There are parts of the heavy industrial process that are dangerous to do without more than one person. ....
