“The St Andrew’s College matric class of 2020 has produced a superb set of results in both the IEB and the Cambridge International A Level examinations,” said Alan Thompson, St Andrew’s College Headmaster.
“These results are a reflection of the extraordinary commitment of boys and staff under the challenging circumstances of 2020.

Asked about her results, Kelby Balker said: ‘The 1% doesn’t bother me – I am so happy with my other results and so they make up for the 79[%]!’
An Eastern Cape matric pupil narrowly missed a full house of seven subject distinctions by just 1%.
Kelby Barker from Diocesan School for Girls (DSG) in Makhanda was one of 12,024 full-time candidates who wrote the National Senior Certificate through the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) in 2020.
She was one of three pupils from the prestigious Makhanda boarding school who got six distinctions each. ....
