Paso Robles High School Athletes of the Week Mackenzie Ruppe Year: Freshman Coach’s comment: The Bearcat Girl’s swim athlete of the week is Mackenzie Ruppe. As a freshman at her first league championship on Thursday, she set two new school records! As the breaststroke leg in the 200 Medley Relay (1:53.09) from 2019. Individually she broke the 100 Breastroke record (1:09.38) from 1996! An amazing day in Arroyo Grande for an outstanding freshman. – Coach Michael Sauret Year: Sophomore Coach’s comment: Justin has done an exceptional job this swim season. He broke the 5-minute barrier in the 500 freestyle at the CCAA League meet and secured a second-place finish in that event. He also finished 6th in the 200 Freestyle. Justin is the only Paso boy to have earned a CIF automatic qualifying time for the 2020-2021 school year. ....
–Paso Robles High School student-athletes Isabella Druding, Kendall Moffit, and Madeline Loff will sign NCAA National Letters of Intent at a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the practice field at Paso Robles High School. Isabella Druding will join the William Jessup University Cheer and Competitive Stunt program. A four-year letter winner, she was chosen as a CCAA All-League First Team. She was selected for the PRHS Varsity Cheer and Stunt team as a freshman and is currently a team captain. William Jessup Coach Alexis Welch is very pleased with her signing “I am thrilled to have Isabella joining our Warrior family next year!” she said, “She is an incredible flyer and tumbler and will be an asset to our Stunt program at Jessup. I have watched Isabella grow over the last few years with her High School Stunt program, and cannot wait to continue helping her grow during her time as a Warrior. Let’s go Bella!” ....
