Since the 1960s, Boy Scouts in northwestern Pennsylvania have camped, hiked and held jamborees at Custaloga Town Scout Reservation, on more than 500 acres in Mercer County.
The future of the camp, as well as the future of the other assets of the Boy Scouts in the Erie area, is likely to become clearer by the end of the month.
The clarity is required as part of the proposed $850 million settlement that the Boys Scouts of America s national organization has reached with tens of thousands of child sex abuse victims who filed claims in the organization s bankruptcy case. ....
