West Australian Premier Mark McGowan has labelled the organisers behind a ‘tent city’ homeless camp in the heart of Fremantle as anarchists who were exploiting vulnerable people.
Mr McGowan said those behind the volunteer-driven camp, set up at the port city’s Pioneer Park on Boxing Day, were “professional protesters” linked to groups like climate change activists Extinction Rebellion and urged the homeless people staying at the park to seek help from state government-run services. ....
